Clinical Tools which Compliment Your Treatment when Indicated
Acupuncture
Experience the ancient art of Acupuncture, where tiny needles gently stimulate specific points along your energy pathways, promoting natural healing and restoring balance to your mind and body.
Acupressure and Tuina
Acupuncture treatments are based on correct TCM diagnosis. In the clinic, taking a reading of the body’s energetics through pulse taking, massage or palpation of areas of the body, with permission. Some diagnostic methods are also therapeutic; so not only tell your practitioner where needles should be located, but also improve the condition as an added benefit.
Cupping
Cupping moves blood, reduces muscle tension, and promotes detoxification. It’s a great complimentary method to needles when muscle or tendon soreness is present. Cupping therapy moves blood and lymphatic fluid where it is applied.
Moxibusion
Affectionately known as Moxa, this form of dried compressed mugwort is even older than acupuncture as a therapeutic method. The meridians that Chinese Medicine is based on were originally discovered by burning this gentle warming incense at the end of a meridian and having the subject share where the heat moved to.
Lifestyle Recommendations
Receive personalized guidance on incorporating healthy habits into your daily routine, including diet, exercise, stress management, and sleep hygiene, and technology free boundaries.
