Ancient Remedies for Treating Modern Problems

About me

Hi, I'm Jane, a passionate Acupuncturist dedicated to helping you achieve optimal health and well-being.

I began my journey in Acupuncture in 2017 and have been continually deepening my knowledge and skills ever since. I am licensed to practice Acupuncture in both Ontario, Canada (since 2019) and Massachusetts (since December 2024).

I'm thrilled to be back home in the Boston area, offering a range of treatments including Acupuncture, Acupressure, Cupping, Moxibustion, and Biofield Tuning. I also provide personalized lifestyle recommendations and health coaching to support your holistic healing journey.

I believe in the power of Chinese Medicine to address a wide range of health concerns, from pain relief and stress reduction to digestive issues and women's health.

I invite you to explore my services and schedule a consultation. The best way to see how Acupuncture can help you is to experience it. Let's work together to unlock your body's natural healing potential.

Acupuncture, cupping, acupressure, palpatory diagnosis, lifestyle recommendations, health coaching. Acupuncture is a holistic medicine which has developed over 3000 years. Through my understanding the flow of blood, lymphatic fluids, neuronal communication and intracellular energy, Acupuncture helps to recalibrate the body’s astounding self healing power, and allow you to enjoy more of life’s gifts going forward.

Clinical Tools which Compliment Your Treatment when Indicated

Acupuncture
Experience the ancient art of Acupuncture, where tiny needles gently stimulate specific points along your energy pathways, promoting natural healing and restoring balance to your mind and body.

Acupressure and Tuina

Acupuncture treatments are based on correct TCM diagnosis. In the clinic, taking a reading of the body’s energetics through pulse taking, massage or palpation of areas of the body, with permission. Some diagnostic methods are also therapeutic; so not only tell your practitioner where needles should be located, but also improve the condition as an added benefit.

Cupping
Cupping moves blood, reduces muscle tension, and promotes detoxification. It’s a great complimentary method to needles when muscle or tendon soreness is present. Cupping therapy moves blood and lymphatic fluid where it is applied.

Moxibusion
Affectionately known as Moxa, this form of dried compressed mugwort is even older than acupuncture as a therapeutic method. The meridians that Chinese Medicine is based on were originally discovered by burning this gentle warming incense at the end of a meridian and having the subject share where the heat moved to.

If you ignore your body’s messages, ultimately, the body will take you down. There’s a cause behind every disease and illness. Some of the causes lie in the small decisions we make every day. If you’re not getting any younger, you need to consider getting on a wellness schedule.

Think of acupuncture as a way to "reset" the body's natural systems by gently stimulating specific points, it can help:

  • Reduce pain: Back pain, headaches, neck pain

  • Improve sleep: Insomnia, restlessness

  • Ease stress and anxiety

  • Boost immunity

  • Support digestive issues

Important Note: While acupuncture can be effective for many conditions, it's crucial to consult with a licensed and qualified acupuncturist to discuss your specific health concerns and determine if it's an appropriate treatment for you.

Slow down! Yes you. You heard me. Is it hard for you to slow down? Well you are not alone. Many humans are incapable of allowing themselves to slow down, yet need it now more than ever. For many people, the world has become so hyper focussed on work, money, body image, fitness, doing well at school, our kids growing up to be independent, the perfect pet, the perfect date, finding a partner, what other people think of us… it’s so much.

Have you read about how there was life before the internet? Before electricity? Before home heating systems? Our happiness didn’t actually require those things. Our bodies and brains have not actually changed that much in 150 years. It’s trying to adapt to serve you, but genetic change does not happen very quickly.

I started practicing right around when COVID first impacted our world. Honestly, people were not at their best. I saw lots of hard feelings, anxiety, health paranoia, relationship fractures, and worry about the future. Sorry to deliver the hard truth here but that’s what change looks like. We don’t need another pandemic but we may need to get used to changing. Our bodies are capable of change. Unfortunately, we got comfortable with how things are, and don’t want risk messing that up.

Come in for a treatment. Let’s talk about this. I want to hear your problems. I’m here to help. Future you will thank you.
